The Problem:

There is a growing epidemic of pre-teens and teenagers who play sports that lack coordination, strength, agility, flexibility and quickness.  You will not become a better athlete by playing on 2 AAU teams... at the same TIME!!! Nor will they get better by playing baseball back to-back to-back to-back!  They have to train like an athlete.

There needs to be an off-season.  This is when athleticism is built.

Think about it... If your son or daughter only focused on improving strength, they'd be better at their sport.  Any sport.  Every sp                                                                                                                  ort.

If they improved there strength they would be so much more efficient as athletes they'd be better at every skill required for their sport.

The Solution:

Now to all of you serious athletes... Welcome to Alex Molden Training,  Are you looking for a training program that will make you explode off the ball? Cut on a dime (and leave change)? Or jump out of the gym?  Our goal for our athletes is to give them the tools they need to perform at a high level every time they compete.  This means training for speed in every direction.  As athletic performance specialists, we believe in training straight ahead speed as well as side to side while also incorporating change of direction techniques, foot quickness and explosiveness.

The ability to move our bodies faster through different planes of motion and magnitudes of motion is essential.   Through jumping, hopping, leaping, skipping and running, everyone can build a larger foundation of motor skills necessary to stay healthy and perform better.

The best way to become faster is to train at full speed (form and mechanics must be taken into consideration) the same can be said about becoming explosive.  We take the time to make sure that proper progressions are being made throughout our training programs, therefore cutting down on the possibility of injury or over-training.  We teach a skill, then add drills and then we compete.  We don't just throw down some cones or a speed ladder and expect you to get quicker... there is a learning curve.
